Home of archery in Geelong since 1960

Home Page

Geelong Archers is an archery club located in Geelong, Victoria. We have been a club for over 50 years, making us one of the oldest in Victoria. We shoot a range of disciplines, including target archery, field archery and clout archery. Our members shoot a large range of bows, including traditional bows, recurve bows and compound bows.  We cater for both junior and senior archers, and shoot multiple times a week in a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.

We have two different grounds to shoot on, including Jarvis Oval at Deakin Waurn Ponds and Abewood Reserve on Edgerton Road Lovely Banks.

Our beginners’ courses are an essential step in joining Geelong Archers. They allow for you to undergo instruction in how to safely shoot both recurve and compound bows, and are held over three consecutive weeks.
